Terms and Conditions of ClassiumBrass

1. Introduction

Welcome to ClassiumBrass, a digital platform that connects students from around the world with brass instrument teachers in Germany for online lessons. ClassiumBrass acts as an "intermediary," facilitating the connection between both parties without directly employing the teachers. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Nature of the Service

ClassiumBrass is a marketplace designed to provide access to brass instrument lessons with highly qualified teachers. The platform allows students to choose the teacher that best suits their needs and book online lessons at flexible times. In addition to live lessons, ClassiumBrass offers the option to submit video performances for written feedback from selected teachers. Students may choose to receive feedback from one or multiple teachers, with pricing scaled according to the number of evaluations requested. Payments are securely processed via PayPal, with a commission applied to each transaction for the use of the platform. ClassiumBrass does not employ teachers or establish an employment relationship with them; it simply acts as an intermediary between students and teachers.

3. Registration and Use of the Platform

Users (teachers and students) must register by providing truthful and up-to-date information.

  • Teachers must reside in Germany and comply with the applicable legal and tax regulations related to their professional activity.

  • Students may come from any country and are responsible for ensuring that their participation in classes complies with the laws of their place of residence.

  • ClassiumBrass does not guarantee academic results or the quality of teaching provided by the teachers.

 

4. Payment Conditions

  • Payments are made exclusively through PayPal.

  • Students pay per lesson, and the platform retains a commission before transferring the amount to the teacher.

  • Teachers are responsible for reporting their income in accordance with German tax regulations.

  • For the video feedback service, the student selects how many teachers will evaluate their performance and pays an amount based on the number of feedbacks desired.

 

5. Cancellation Policy

To ensure effective organization, the following rules apply:

  • If the student cancels more than 24 hours in advance, they will receive a full refund.

  • If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled class, no refund will be given.

  • If the teacher cancels the class for any reason, the student may choose to either reschedule the session at no additional cost or receive a full refund.

 

6. Liability and Limitations

  • ClassiumBrass is not responsible for the quality of the lessons, punctuality, or any disagreement between students and teachers.

  • The platform is not liable for technical issues arising from internet connection problems or other external factors that may affect the session.

  • ClassiumBrass is not responsible for any interactions between students and teachers that occur outside the platform.

  • Users are responsible for their own equipment, software, and internet connections required to access the lessons.

 

7. Additional Services: “Send Your Video” and Subscriptions

 

In addition to individual online lessons, ClassiumBrass offers additional services that allow students to personalize their learning experience:

a) “Send Your Video” Service
This service allows students to submit a video or audio recording of a musical performance in order to receive written feedback from one, two, or three registered professors.

  • The recording must not exceed 10 minutes in length.

  • Only one link can be submitted per feedback request.

  • The student selects the number of evaluating professors at the time of submission.

  • Written feedback will be delivered by email within a maximum of 10 calendar days.

  • The service fees are:
     • 1 professor: €15
     • 2 professors: €26
     • 3 professors: €36

  • This service does not guarantee a positive evaluation or specific results.

b) Monthly and Annual Subscriptions
ClassiumBrass offers subscription plans for students who regularly use the platform and want to enjoy additional benefits:

Monthly subscription – €10.50/month:

  • 15% discount on all individual lessons

  • Unlimited and priority access to updates and new features

  • Priority support for any inquiries or issues

  • Cancel anytime, no penalties

Annual subscription – €71.88/year (equivalent to €5.99/month):

  • All benefits of the monthly plan

  • Save €55 compared to monthly billing

  • Includes 5 video feedback submissions

  • One-time annual payment, no monthly renewals

General conditions:

  • Subscriptions are renewed automatically unless cancelled by the user at least 7 days before the renewal date.

  • No refunds are given for partially used subscription periods, unless due to a technical issue caused by ClassiumBrass.

  • Users may switch from a monthly to an annual plan at any time by contacting: mail@classiumbrass.com.

8. Modifications and Termination of Service

ClassiumBrass reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of such changes.

 

9. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Germany. In the event of a dispute, both parties will attempt to resolve it amicably. If no agreement is reached, the matter will be submitted to the competent courts in Germany.
